Overview:

Set nearly thirty years after the events of Dominant Race, Marcus Townsend shouldn’t exist. His unique modified condition, the double legacy left behind by his tiger and snow leopard modified parents, is both a blessing and a curse. As a child of New Bren, the first modified Greater City, he knows more about technology than any modified generation before him. But when the sanctuary his predecessors struggled to create threatens to collapse under the weight of a mysterious weapon, Marcus challenges the prejudice lingering in the political sphere. With the help of some old friends and new faces, can Marcus carve a new fate for his kin, or will they all fall prey to the inherent weakness in their modified genes?

11/1/11: Just started writing the draft for NaNoWriMo. With any luck, the rewrites can begin in December along with Dominant Race’s final edits.
