Half Life
In this high fantasy series, elves rule the wealthy kingdom of Cenaire. The nobility control everything — including human slaves to do their hard labor and other menial duties. The series starts off with two lovers who, if discovered, would be killed and ends (so far, anyway) with the stories of a wandering half human, half elf.
#1 Bound (working title) — 2% complete
- A human slave and a noble elfwoman fall in love, despite her arranged marriage to another noble, and must live with the consequences.
#2 Equals (working title) — 5% complete
- Two half elf, half human siblings must choose to fight for human freedom or flee from a life of oppression in service of the elfin nobility.
#3 Renaissance (working title) — 0% complete (idea stage)
- A tired noble must figure out how to unite a broken kingdom.
#4 Adventures of a Curious Elf-Man (working title) — 0% complete (idea stage)
- A half elf, half human tells the stories of his travels through the continent Cenaire is located on.
