I like this page, but I’d like to see some description at least of the Half Life series. I know you were very excited about it.
And I think I see a better way to have that opening sentence work in your description of DR:
Lilia is a “mod” — a “modified human” with special animal traits genetically encoded. She’s joined an armed rebellion bent on defending “mods” from the military, and the monstous remnants of “mods” who have devolved into thoughtless miscreants.
But when a coup otherthrows the the government holding the tattered remains of the United States together, Lilia must choose between supporting the government bent on destroying her and her kind, or siding with a radical tyrant bent on destroying everyone else.
How’s that? is it too long? Mostly it’s just that first sentence which needs re-organization, so you can ignore the rest.
Otherwise, a nice job. :)
I’ll have to see. I don’t like “mod” but I do love your use of words like “encoded” and the description seems more vivid. Mine is just this block, but yours flows better.

What?! You don’t like “MOD”? How can that BE? “Mod” lets you do things like “Mod Squad” for the rebellion, and “Mod Bod” for guys with modified fetishes, and “Mod Fraud” for humans PRETENDING to be mods, and “Mod Tod” for toddler modifieds, and OH so much more! How can you NOT LIKE “MOD”?!
…then again, it’s your book, your description. ;) Have fun with it!
